The October 11, 2002 issue of Business First ranked all Greater Columbus nonprofit organizations by 2001 income.  The Community Shelter Board is the 23^rd largest nonprofit.  CSB's annual Mel Schottenstein Birthday Celebration in the top 10 fundraising events in 2001 ($1 million raised).  With 93 percent of expenses going directly to programs and services, CSB is was in the top three most efficient organizations.
