The
Community Shelter Board announces an opportunity for funding of housing and
services to homeless people.
The U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will make funds available
again this year through its Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Programs. The Community Shelter Board
(CSB), at the request of Franklin County, the City of Columbus and the Columbus
Metropolitan Housing Authority, will prepare a Consolidated application to HUD
for all of Columbus and Franklin County projects.

The official notification of the
availability of funds from HUD will likely be issued within the next month. This notice is sent now to allow
potential providers time to prepare pre-proposals and for the local review of
applications.
