Position Opening:      Administrative Assistant for Finance and Grants Administration

Job Purpose:                
Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Finance and Grants office. Provides backup staffing for Office Manager and telephone coverage for other administrative personnel.  Responsible for working efficiently and effectively with staff in order to support the organization’s mission.  Reports to Chief Financial Officer.

General Administrative Support

Part Time Position (approximately 30 hours per week)

Provides administrative support to:

Chief Financial Officer
Grants Administrator

Pay Range:        $10.00–12.00/hour. Part-time (30 hours/week), paid leave, holidays and insurance benefits.

Qualifications:                                At least two years experience in office setting. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Access/Outlook) necessary, and experience with automated accounting, finance or grants software helpful. Excellent math skills needed.  Must be detail-oriented, organized, have the ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently. Proven excellence in written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment required.
