Position Opening:   Systems Administrator  HMIS (Homeless Management Information System)

Purpose:  Directs all planning, coordination, and management related to CSB’s HMIS and internal IT activities.  Activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordination of CSB HMIS, management of CSB information technology systems, coordination of strategic IT planning, provision of technical assistance to CSB and other community agencies, assistance with descriptive and statistical analysis, preparation of HMIS reports, and presentation of findings and recommendations. Reports directly to Associate Director. Additional duties may include participation in community coalitions/task forces and representation of the agency.

Full Time Position

Reports to:            Associate Director

Pay Range:      Salary commensurate with experience.  $28,000 - $35,000.  Paid leave, holidays and insurance benefits.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT field.  Knowledge of and experience with relational database management and database administration required and essential.  Ability to translate between agency information needs and database structure and functions required.  Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office and Access, Internet and Crystal Reports.  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems.  Excellent skills in analysis (qualitative & quantitative), strategic planning required. Proven excellence in written and oral communication required.  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines necessary.  Experience working not-for-profit setting with significant information reporting requirements strongly preferred.  Congruence with agency mission and desire and ability to work collaboratively with others is of major importance.
