Through this collaborative of provider agencies, families quickly move out of shelter and into affordable permanent housing in the community. The Collaborative helps families resolve immediate financial problems and provides linkage to community-based services needed for long-term personal and financial stability. CSB research has found that nine months after being served by the Family Housing Collaborative, less than 6% of the families returned to a shelter.
