The Community Shelter Board provides access to shelter beds for men, women, and families in Columbus and Franklin County. Beyond providing a secure and clean place to sleep, all programs provide access to basic services such as showers, meals, healthcare, and material assistance, as well as referrals, supportive services, and crisis assistance. Most shelters also have Employment Resource Centers. These centers have computers with internet access, telephones, employment leads, job training resources, and other community resources, as well as supportive staff who help individuals using the centers to obtain jobs and housing.
