Purpose |
The
Community Shelter Board wants all of its partner agencies to be successful in
providing high quality, cost-effective and results oriented programs and
services to individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis.
Letters of Support |
Programs
and services which meet the needs of homeless families and individuals in
Franklin County, Ohio are eligible to request Letters of Support from the
Community Shelter Board. The Community Shelter Board will only provide Letters
of Support to agencies that have a historical record of providing quality
services to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. New agencies
must demonstrate a significant likelihood for the ability to provide high
quality services. To receive a Letter of Support, the agency requesting the
letter should provide the needed materials via e-mail at least 10
working days before the date that the letter is needed. For more information,
go to www.csb.org and click on

Annual Event Recognition |
The Mel
Schottenstein Birthday Celebration has been raising our community’s awareness of
homelessness since 1995.
In 2009, the event will be re-named
Together Rebuilding Lives. Each partner agency is given three
complimentary seats: two for staff members and one for a trustee. Additionally,
partner agencies receive recognition in the printed event program and at the
event.
Homeless Management Information System |
Since
1989, CSB has collected unduplicated data on the persons served by partner
agencies. This information is accessible to partner agencies for reports to funders as well as a management tool. For special reports or information
contact Lianna Barbu at LBarbu@csb.org.
